Let God take control this December

Happy new month everyone! Welcome to a new blog. Thank you for all the support, it honestly means so much to me and for those of you who are new to my blog, to quickly catch you up my theme for this year revolves around increasing your faith in God. 

I have been trying to remain consistent in speaking on this topic this year to encourage you (including myself) to keep trusting in God even when life gets difficult. 

Recently, I came across a TikTok that said, instead of asking God; “what can you do for me?” all the time, why not try reversing it and ask God “what can I do for you?” This video gave me a new perspective and insight on how to better communicate with God.


Sometimes we pray what we think we want God to bless us with and then become frustrated when it does not happen or if it doesn’t happen in the way we expected it to. 


So in this last month of the year, I don’t want to pray for my hearts desires but instead I want to pray for what God wants for me in this final month of 2024. 


I want his will to manifest in my life. I want this last month to reveal all the plans and blessings that God has in store for me. This is what faith looks like. It’s not always about praying for your innermost wishes and having faith that it will happen. Sometimes it’s about having faith in Gods plan; through the uncertainty and truly believing that God is going to work everything out for your good, whatever that looks like. Trusting that God has your best interest at heart. 


As Isaiah 55:8-9 states “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”. declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” This tells us that God does not think like we do. Gods thoughts are beyond our understanding. 


The plans we make for ourselves is nothing compared to the plans that God has for us. This is why it is important to trust him. We don’t know what doors God will open for us, what blessings he will give to us but it will be greater than we ever could imagine. 


I recently saw a touching image on Instagram; a little girl holding a tiny teddy bear. However, Jesus had a much bigger teddy bear behind His back; indicating that He has so much bigger and better in store for us. We just need to let go and let God. Let Him guide and direct us to where we should go. Surrender and let God take control! 


So for this last month I invite you all to join me and pray for Gods will to be done in your life. Whatever that looks like! Let’s have faith that God will show up and reveal His goodness to us in the best way possible! 


The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6 to not be anxious for anything. So don’t worry, God has your back, and your December will be amazing if you just let him take control!

Faith of a mustard seed

Hello everyone, welcome back to another blog! It has been a while since I have uploaded but I am back by the grace of God. We have made it into the month of August! I pray that this month will be amazing and I pray for favour and an overflow of blessings for you over this month. Walking Forward

Happy new month everyone! We are finally out of the never ending month of January and have entered into the new month of February.   I don’t know about you, but I have a very good feeling about this month! I am feeling very excited and hopeful for what this month will bring.  Perhaps it’s because February is my birthday month … OR maybe the belief that this month  holds something extraordinary in store for each of us.   The month of January was the start of working on increasing our faith and our confidence in God.
