My prayer for you

Dear God,

As we approach the end of 2024, I want to thank you for your protection, your guidance and leading us to where you needed us to be for this year. This year has been filled with some ups and some downs but through it all, you were there. You watched over us, you kept us safe, even in situations we didn’t know were a danger to us. You took our burdens and held them as your own, you fought our battles and all we had to do was be still. You heard our cries and delivered us out of our troubles. You never gave up on us despite falling short many times. You never left us in the dark, even when it felt like you wasn’t there, but you was there the entire time.

Lord you have been so good to us and you are worthy of all the praise and all the glory. You are worthy of our worship. You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. There is none like you, and every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that YOU are Lord.

You are such a good God and I thank you that You are the head and the ruler of our lives. I thank you that we don’t have to figure it all out on our own. Your love is so profound that you chose to die for our sins, granting us grace and the promise to spend eternity with you. We are thankful that you are in control. Where would we be without you? We would be nothing without you.

As we walk into 2025, I pray that we will continue to walk with you Jesus. I pray that we will continue to trust and honour you. I pray that 2025 will be the year of falling into alignment with your will for us. I pray that we will walk in our God given purpose. I pray that we will draw closer to you so you can draw close to us. I pray that 2025 will be a year of joy, an overflow of blessings and opened doors. I pray 2025 will be filled with ‘Congratulations!’ “Well done!” ‘I am pleased to inform you!’ I pray 2025 will be a year of no more delay. You will not miss your time in Jesus name. I pray that 2025 will be the year of restoration.

Peter 5:10 states that after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. I pray that 2025 is the year God will restore everything back to you. May this promise be fulfilled in our lives in Jesus name I pray Amen x
